The Muslim Council of Wales conveys its thanks and prayers to Most Rev’d John D E Davies, who has retired as Archbishop of Wales on Sunday 2nd May 2021.
The Archbishop of Wales Rev’d John Davies has been an important moral voice for Wales during troubling times. His tenure has been notable for his kindness, approachability, and commitment to interfaith, friendship, and engagement with others.
We are pleased to have had the opportunity to work alongside the Rev’d John Davies, and benefit from his wisdom and insight.
We wish him all the best for his retirement, and thank him for his service to his community and to Wales.
